THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners are working exclusively with a global, rapidly growing, private equity backed healthcare business, headquartered in Central London. Backed by a leading upper-mid market Private Equity fund, our client are looking to implement an aggressive buy-and-build strategy as they increase their global coverage. They are seeking a VP Corporate Development & M&A, to act as a key member of an already impressive senior leadership, and help define the long term strategic plan of the business. This is a hands-on role, that requires the end-to-end execution of M&A deals, suited to individuals with extensive transaction experience.

THE ROLE:

  • and implement the group’s M&A strategy
  • a best in class Corporate Development/M&A team
  • analyse and assess acquisition opportunities, including producing and reviewing financial models and acquisition rationale
  • pre-acquisition integration (and separation) planning is thorough and effective
  • the overall M&A deal pipeline, including outreach to and sourcing of new opportunities, JV’s etc.
  • and maintain key relationships with existing and potential investors
  • closely with Chief Business Officer on key commercial projects and PE activity



THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • years of relevant work experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals preferred
  • working with private equity desired
  • working in a leading investment bank or top-tier consultancy preferred
  • in a continuously changing, growing environment
  • influencing and negotiation skills
