We are now seeking a Business Systems Administrator to join our team.

Vanguard Healthcare Solutions is a fast-growing company. We are a UK-based, privately owned, international provider of infrastructure and clinical services supporting healthcare clients worldwide. Vanguard Healthcare Solutions was established in 1999.

Our purpose-designed and built mobile and modular facilities provide our clients with new or replacement healthcare spaces including operating theatres, endoscopy suites and sterilisation and diagnostic departments. As part of our solution to our clients we also support them with clinical teams and equipment for our facilities.

We are looking for a Business Systems Administrator in a hybrid role (minimum 2 days in the office) to join our IT Team, based in Gloucester.

Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain optimal function of business applications, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance
Monitor system performance metrics and coordinate maintenance and enhancements to support business operations
Create and delete users as part of the starters/ leavers process and maintain the Role-Based-Access-Control (RBAC) model
Maintain data integrity and assist in the production of reporting/ BI dashboard creation
Working with our IT Support function, provide primary support for all system-related issues to end users and liaise with application vendors to ensure end-to-end support as required
Liaise with software vendors and external IT consultants to resolve issues that cannot be handled internally
Work with Project Management and Business stakeholders to design, configure, test and implement the configuration-layer of our applications according to user needs and requirements
Regularly assess system configurations and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades
Implement and manage security measures, backups, and disaster recovery plans

Requirements
‘A’ Level education or higher (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years direct experience in system administration, with a background in managing business-critical applications
Extensive knowledge of enterprise software applications and database management. Proficient in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting business systems
Familiarity with operating systems Windows, database SQL commands, and basic network management
Understanding of information security principles and data protection regulations applicable to system management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with technical teams
