Role:

Finatal are mandated by a PE backed SaaS business, seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to support the FP&A director by leading all forecasting, planning and budgeting activities across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the FP&A Director by leading forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes to drive strategic decision-making and financial performance.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across departments to understand business drivers, provide insights, and support decision-making processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A function, optimising processes and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Oversee systems implementations and enhancements across the finance function, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business performance evaluations.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organisational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • ACA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in Transaction Services, gained from a reputable accounting or advisory firm.
  • Previous experience working within a PE-backed software or technology business is key.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to support the development of high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across functions and levels of the organisation.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing financial systems.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Ambitious and results-oriented with a commitment to delivering excellence.
