iov42, a leader in innovative supply chain solutions, is seeking a junior, but experienced, Sales Development Representative for our traceability solution, Interu.  Our proposition supports clients with compliance to regulations such as EUDR, UK Forest Risk Commodities and the US FOREST Act, helping them to save time, improve data accuracy and de-risk their business operations. 


We’re a small team located throughout Europe. When we’re looking for new team members, we’re not just looking for fantastic background experience; we are also looking for people that fit our ethos of being kind, curious and collaborative.


What you will do:


  • Research, identify and qualify potential clients by understanding prospects’ problems to create sales opportunities
  • Engage with senior level sales and marketing people over outbound channels, raise awareness of iov42’s value proposition and secure introductory meetings
  • Carry out daily prospecting of key material to focused audiences
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, particularly of Interu (what it is, what problems it solves and why)
  • Provide accurate and timely (weekly) reporting on your activity
  • Meet challenging targets for appointment setting
  • Uphold the values and cultural ethos of iov42 in all dealings internally and externally 


What you will need:


  • Excellent spoken and written English (fluency in a second language such as German or French would be an advantage).
  • Experience with CRM software (Zoho, Freshsales & Hubspot preferred )
  • Experience of working in the B2B market setting sales appointments from warm as well as cold leads
  • Experience of generating a new business pipeline and hitting call targets / success measures would be an advantage
  • The ability to understand and articulate a complex product set to senior executives as if you were a senior sales professional
  • To be articulate and confident with good research skills 
  • Experience of compiling lists of potential prospects, and their details (email addresses, phone numbers, etc), to engage with as part of outreach activity.
  • To  have an excellent telephone manner with strong listening skills
  • To be technically savvy – with the ability to understand precisely how the product you sell works and what problems it addresses.
