Part-Time Opportunity for Local Solicitor at BTC Group- North London


BTC Group, a prominent name in property management, is excited to offer a part-time position ideal for a local retired solicitor who has a keen interest in the field of residential property management, especially in administrating and advocating for eviction processes and simple company litigation matters. This role represents a unique opportunity to apply a wealth of legal expertise to help navigate and manage the intricacies of property law.

A predominantly eviction-focused role, accounting for approximately 80-90% of the work, with additional involvement in company litigation matters.


Ideal Candidate:

You are a retired solicitor with significant experience and expertise in residential property eviction processes in England, particularly proficient with Section 8 and Section 21 notices.


You possess a robust understanding of the eviction process, ensuring all legal actions are compliant with current legislation.


Your administrative skills are top-notch, with an ability to efficiently manage legal documentation and case files. Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complex legal procedures for various stakeholders. You are proactive, always seeking to enhance processes and outcomes for the company and our clients.


Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of the eviction process, from drafting and serving notices to final execution, ensuring legal compliance throughout.


Provide legal advice and representation in company litigation matters, such as handling claims initiated by tenants or improving contractual agreements.


Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property law changes and adapt company practices accordingly. Support the property management team with general administrative tasks and legal guidance.


we envisage this role to be approx 8 - 10 hours a week.
