**This job description sets out your main duties and responsibilities but you may be required**
**to undertake other duties from time to time.**
**Main purposes of role**
- To undertake fee earning work in both residential and commercial property transactions. Work as part of a friendly team and to contribute to the successful development of the department.
**Key tasks - this will include but will not be limited to the main responsibilities given below**:
- Conduct of matters on behalf of clients. To ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and on cost.
- Supervision of paralegals.
- Compliance with professional & regulatory obligations.
- Be effective in developing new work from existing clients and seek new clients. Maintain & nurture network of contacts and referrers and endeavour to promote the firm.
- Financial control with particular regard to timely and correct billing of cases and to achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording.
7.. Undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and clients documentation and information.
