About the role


What you’ll be doing

  • Build new tools for artists to harness generative AI in their creative workflows.
  • Lead the discovery, prototyping, and development of AI-powered features to enable new functionality inside Fable’s core experience.
  • A strong focus on assembling existing libraries and technologies into new inference pipelines (think background-removal, super slo-mo, segmentation for mattes, music generation, etc.) With lots of room for invention of novel solutions as our feature-set evolves.
  • Partner with design to inform UX solutions & constraints for these new features
  • Partner with engineering to implement these workflows into the product and bring them to production scale

About you

  • You’re always on the cutting edge of the fast-moving world of generative AI. You follow the latest developments, libraries, and technologies. You are researching, prototyping, and dreaming up new integrations daily — You live and breathe this stuff.
  • You have a strong systems-level view of the key technologies, workflows, and processes in the generative AI landscape.
  • You have experience building complex and robust workflows in ComfyUI
  • You are proficient in writing Python. (Rust, Javascript, & CSS are all a plus but not required)
  • You have experience (or are interested in) fine-tuning models, creating LORAs, optimizing inference performance, and prompt-engineering.
