Clinical Product Specialist
2 months ago
The company
Hartmann Young has partnered with a high-growth and dynamic diagnostics company, enabling personalised treatment for cancer, heart disease and infectious diseases through digital testing.
The role
They're looking to develop a team of three Clinical Product Specialists in different territories, to collectively cover the UK, reporting into the Commercial Director (UK & North Europe). You'll cover the Greater Manchester region, with occasional coverage of more of the North, focusing primarily on public and private healthcare hospital networks.
You'll have detailed knowledge of the use of company products to improve patient outcomes and will be key to growing sales in the territory. You will also bring a current knowledge of precision medicine, particularly how biomarkers and therapies are used together to improve treatment selection and outcomes. Day to day, you'll identify and work with clinicians and support staff to adopt and appropriately use company products and services, including the provision of test and sample kits at client locations and associated smooth ordering and billing processes.
The requirements
- B.Sc. in life sciences, biology, medicine or pharma;
- Proven ability to engage in a consultative selling process with healthcare providers and payers, especially oncology and cardiology hospitals;
- Detailed knowledge of cancer pathways and personalised medicine;
- Min. 3-5 years experience working with major cancer / clinical centres;
- Experienced in sales forecasting and reporting business performance.
The person
The ideal candidate for the position will be ambitious, and willing to take on the responsibility that comes with working as part of a smaller team where you'll frequently engage with senior leadership. You'll set ambitious but realistic targets, based on strategic sales negotiation and key account planning skills, working independently and proactively to manage multiple projects and prioritise daily tasks within deadlines. We're looking for someone with exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
