Our client, a leading technology-driven organization, is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. The company prides itself on fostering innovation and utilizing cutting-edge technology to drive business success. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a team of experts who are passionate about harnessing data to create impactful solutions.



Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure efficient data flow and integration across various systems.

• Utilize Python for data manipulation, transformation, and automation tasks.

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Implement data pipelines and workflows to support real-time and batch data processing.

• Optimize database performance, including tuning queries and managing indexes.

• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation procedures.

• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and architectures.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data engineers.



Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy).

• Extensive experience with ETL tools and processes.

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).

• Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services is highly desirable.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
