We have partnered up with a highly creative digital interactive agency who have a really exciting opportunity for a Creative Director to be the face of the creative studio. They create immersive experiences for the world’s largest retailers, brands and entertainment venues. They are a global agency with offices in London and overseas.


The Role

The Creative Director will draw upon a wealth of experience to create best in class shared digital immersive experiences. You will create new forms of storytelling, influence the creative industry and lead others to creative & technical innovation. As Creative Director you will ideate for a highly diverse clientele in response to the most ambitious creative briefs, confidently building concepts, with a clear understanding of how to deliver a strategic vision.


Day-2-Day Responsibilities

Creative

  • oversight and take accountability for the creative output of all projects to include, 3D animation, VFX, interactive displays, LED, VR.
  • the face of the creative department in client meetings.
  • complex and ambitious briefs and present ideas that surpass client expectations.
  • client stories through creative uses of innovative technology.
  • for creative response creating memorable pitch presentations.
  • and leading teams through design and delivery process.
  • and supporting Lead Artists as they progress through a project.
  • or inputs in all creative components of a project such as filming, lighting, audio design, script, choreography.
  • the creative calibre of the studio.
  • direction across multiple projects where necessary.


People

  • leadership at project and studio level.
  • and motivate creative teams.
  • and mentor lead artists through the creative process.
  • on line management responsibilities to support and develop in house talent.
  • a positive influence in the studio and help improve mental wellbeing of your team.
  • strong client relationships and inspire belief in creative vision.
  • with the creative artists to drive the studio forward.


The Studio

  • that all teams members follow process, workflow and pipelines.
  • strong partnerships with producers to plan and manage projects through the design and delivery process.
  • work with senior studio team members to drive innovation.
  • Resource Management with recruitment where necessary.


Skills

  • presenting ideas to clients and the ability to hold productive workshops with them.
  • manage the full 3D animation pipeline, techniques and executions.
  • background directing world class Immersive Experiences.
  • idea generation and the ability to think outside the bubble.
  • written skills and the ability to articulate a treatment in response to a client brief.
  • to communicate to team members to help drive projects forward.
  • to express your ideas visually to help all other team members understand your vision.
  • comprehensive understanding of relevant technology and the ability to use it creatively.
  • using Adobe CC. & Cinema 4D.
  • directing music composition and/or sound design.
  • directing lighting design.


Desirable experience and skills:

  • of realtime renderers and interactive engines unity, unreal engine etc.
  • directing shoots or live performance.
