GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Tooling and Delivery Manager to our Public Sector client. The Tooling and Delivery Manager will support a transition to a more agile Product Operations function with a focus on Digital Vaccinations.

Main Duties of the Tooling and Delivery Manager:

  • Leading on the transition to new and improved JIRA Projects
  • Develop the tools necessary to support the squads and other team's work such as KANBAN boards, Dashboards, Roadmaps, etc.
  • Work closely with squads on improving the way they utilise JIRA and help them identify process improvements
  • Ensure the new tooling uplifts MI from the lowest to the highest level of the workstream
  • Ensure the quality of tickets is maintained
  • Provide training and best practices on Agile work management
  • Analysis of team performance via Actionable Agile
  • Scrum master for various teams/ Agile coaching
  • Introducing various automations to reduce manual work and increase capacity within the teams while ensuring high quality of data
  • Site onboarding - working with the onboarding team to sift and format data about vaccination sites that is used by suppliers to onboard the sites to their system. The manual process is now optimised and time spent by the team is reduced

Role Requirements:

  • Experience of creation and configuration of company-managed projects in Jira Software
  • Experience in the set up of boards, sprints, development of workflows and management of permissions
  • Creation of dashboards and provision of analytics
  • Ability to scale up information to enable portfolio view of priorities
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance
  • Ability to design processes and support the teams in defining ways of working
  • Application of Kanban System Design experience
  • Experience in the management of Confluence spaces
  • Experience in the development of training materials and coaching skills
  • Experience with introducing automations
  • Ability to link tooling with performance management
  • Agile project management experience
  • Power BI and Data Analysis experience
