Location: Reading (2 days in a week to office)

Contract: until Dec 2024

Role Purpose:

We also look after the performance analytics across the whole of data core and packet core. They have a team which do the performance and reporting for data and packet core, and then they have the PCRF team which works with vendors such as Oracle and datatronics. They are going to cloud platforms with oracle, and they have done this for voice and 5gsa and they are still doing the data migration which is why they are looking to bring on an additional policy designer.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the Data Access Policy platforms and interfaces that we need to support 5G/4G/3G mobile data for our customers.
• building a fully 5G Standalone ready control plane centred around 3GPP-standard PCF, PCRF and UDR platforms, their interfaces to BSS and OCS systems, and on building the most efficient policies within those platforms
• Contribute to the design for our cloud native PCF, PCRF, and UDR for 5G, 4G, 3G data, including 5G Standalone
• Use your direct technical expertise to transform our business needs for new products and services into cost-effective solutions

Experience Needed

• Experience of PCRF, IMS and 5GSA on packet core side.
• Design experience (core network design) (not looking for testing CVs).
• Data Migration experience
• TSA but not essential
