Chief of Staff

As Chief of Staff, you will support the CEO in strategy, operational, and organisational activities to facilitate effective decision making and implementation. You being part of the Management team will provide oversight to high level projects and initiatives, particularly focused on the execution of the company’s key objectives and organising cross departmental work flows, both within Travelfusion and within its parent company Trip.com. As Chief of Staff you will work closely with the management team to drive projects and initiatives across the organisation.
Primary Focus:
- To execute the short and long term strategic vision of the management team
- Take part in leadership and strategy meetings along with the senior team and coordinate follow-ups and next steps
- Influence and contribute to the strategic decision of the company, by providing data and research support
- Contribute to the development and tracking of KPIs in close cooperation with CEO and senior team
- Drive the set-up of an Annual Operation Plan across the functional levels of the company
- Provide leverage to the management team by ranking competing priorities and creating decision making frameworks
Own and Drive Key Projects:
- Coordinate and monitor high value ad hoc projects
- Plan, track and monitor the progress of key priorities and strategic initiatives for the Leadership Team
- Manage critical aspects of deliverable with a hands on approach, including drafting correspondence and other tasks that facilitate the ability to effectively execute top priorities
Manage Communications:
- Prepare strategic papers on behalf of management for internal stakeholders and TF board communication on a regular basis
- Drive communication together with the management team to increase TF’s strategy awareness and focus across the leadership team
- Become an effective channel for team feedback
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a high growth start-up, management consulting, tech business or similar fast-paced environment
- Experience in supporting executive level management and driving interdepartmental collaboration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to understand and articulate effectively complex issues
- Excellent in research and data analytic skills
- Ability to prioritise, lead discussions and coordinate projects and deliverables with executive presence while maintaining a sense of humility
- Strong problem solving skills with the desire to take initiative and critically analyse processes and translate finding to executives
- Ability to foster and grow strong working relationships
- Highly organised with impeccable attention to detail
- High level of integrity for the management of confidential information
- High business acumen and applied knowledge
- Understanding of pivoting and sticking to priorities
