Our client, a leading UK-based Ecommerce Tech business, is seeking a skilled Freelance Senior Full Stack Web Developer to support their team on a project basis. With a strong industry presence and a team of over 20 staff, they are temporarily looking to fill the gap as they search for a permanent hire. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical projects and collaborate with a talented team.


This position is compensated at between £350PD - £400PD and is outside of IR35. It is a fully remote position and there is a potential to go permanent at the end of the contract if you wished to do so. The initial contract length would be 3 months.


Role Overview:

The successful candidate will take on key responsibilities in developing and maintaining high-performance web applications. Expertise in Symfony, PHP, and Angular is essential, along with solid experience working with AWS. As the company is transitioning to a more Python-driven tech stack, familiarity or interest in Python development would be highly beneficial.


This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere in the UK. You will be working closely with a team of five developers, contributing to vital ongoing projects over a three-month period.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex web applications using Symfony, PHP, and Angular.
  • Collaborate with the existing team to deliver scalable solutions on AWS.
  • Assist with the transition towards a Python-driven tech stack.
  • Contribute to ongoing project work, ensuring high standards of code quality and performance.
  • Provide expertise and support to the team during this transition period.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Symfony, PHP, and Angular.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Ability to hit the ground running and deliver results within a short timeframe.
  • Experience or interest in Python development is a plus.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote environment.
  • Must be based in the UK and eligible to work in the UK.
