KURY UK Ltd is part of an international company, Kury Groupe, 100% dedicated to the nuclear field with 23 years of experience in nuclear engineering.

Since then, we have been working with EDF (French Electricity Producer). We are involved in several nuclear projects, including FA3 EPR (France), the French fleet, Taishan EPR (China), Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C.

We are now looking for engineers to join our Team in the UK. Our human-sized structure (100 employees worldwide) allows us to devote to mentoring and training our engineers. Getting involved in significant industrial and engineering projects involving very demanding precautions as regards industrial safety captivates you.

THE ROLE


As a Contract Engineering Lead Instrumentation, you will be the entry point for the client organization concerning all topics linked to the instrumentation contract(s) and will produce support to the Client organization for technical issues.


You will be in charge of the following activities:


  • Ensure the technical management of the supplier and support the Client in its contractual relationship with the supplier during the contract execution phase (in particular regarding compliance with the schedule, costs, scope of supply and studies).
  • Review supplier documents according to technical referential in time with good level of quality and coordinate the documentary review of the various contributors.
  • Depending on the workload required for the supplier document review, you might be supported by one or several technical leads, to ensure coordination so that documents and topics are handled in time.
  • Produce comment sheets via dedicated tool to the supplier and organise clarification with supplier if needed.
  • Manage modifications on the contracts to inform the supplier via CTS (Contract Transfer Sheet) sent to the Client via dedicated tools.
  • Act as an entry point for all modifications, technical issues or non-conformities coming from site activities.
  • Ensure the management of risks, opportunities, open points and modifications of its contract with the Client.
  • Manage the interfaces with all client’s disciplines involved in providing the input data relevant to the instrumentation contract.
  • Manage the interfaces with all client disciplines using the instrumentation contract(s) detailed design as their inputs.
  • Manage the interfaces in the qualification part performed by the client based in France.
  • Follow up on all the Delivery To Site dates for the equipment.


During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects. This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics. Your understanding of the technical and environmental challenges will allow you to take on complex and critical transversal studies.



REQUIRED SKILLS


  • Knowledge or relevant experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Experience in an EPR project, operating plant or on an industrial site.
  • Previous experience in Instrumentation technical reviews.
  • Knowledge of the electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system.
  • Knowledge of the quality processes involved in industrial projects in the nuclear field.
  • Ability to learn, prioritise and manage numerous tasks.
  • French-speaking would be an advantage.
