Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions within our banking/financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices, coupled with extensive experience in the banking or financial services sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and tools to streamline and optimize our software development and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate software builds, testing, and deployment.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure components.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of automation solutions in alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to development and production environments.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve automation processes and tools.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Previous experience in a banking environment, or highly regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
