This is an exciting an well compensated position to join one of the largest Real Estate Developers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia working on a program of works valued in the high $Billions. Client will be conducting in-person interviews for short listed candidates in the UK in mid-July.


**Location:** This is a site based role.


Overview


Lead a Project/Program through all stages, providing strategic leadership and guidance to ensure the client's overall vision and goals are communicated and achieved. Provide direction to the project team to ensure work execution aligns with contractual requirements and the client's vision. Take responsibility for Time, Cost, Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management on the Project/Program, ensuring compliance with all client plans, procedures, metrics, and objectives. Coordinate and collaborate with the designated Construction Director, who reports to the Executive Director – Construction, to lead the planning and execution of physical construction works on-site.


Job Responsibilities – Leadership:


**Strategic Contribution:**

- Implement the annual business plan and targets, aligning with the strategic agenda of the Project Delivery function to deliver the client's vision and mission.

- Translate strategy into operational business plans for all project management aspects and monitor their performance to achieve functional objectives and deliver the company’s strategy.


Leadership:

- Direct the Project/Program team activities to ensure efficient work in line with strategic Project, Construction, and Management plans, policies, and procedures.

- Build and lead a motivated, engaged, and competent team by establishing clear roles, setting goals and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching.

- Serve as a role model to ensure employees’ awareness and commitment to the client's vision, mission, values, and strategy, fostering a highly engaged and motivated team to continuously improve performance.


Budget

- Understand the project budget in detail and monitor financial performance against it, identifying areas of unsatisfactory performance or risk and implementing performance improvement or mitigation opportunities to minimize impact.


Job Responsibilities


**Project Management:**

- Ensure the development, communication, and implementation of client policies, procedures, and processes to all team members, checking for compliance.

- Develop project-specific team Roles, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities, ensuring they are clear and communicated to cover all critical activities.

- Ensure appropriate communication with other departments to consider and achieve various departmental goals and requirements.

- Develop a detailed deliverable schedule for consultants and contractors to ensure projects are safely and successfully planned, delivered, and managed, considering all aspects of time, cost, quality, health, safety, and environment.

- Review and study detailed project design, obtain relevant details from functions to clarify technical aspects and materials used, and provide inputs for cost planning and overall project execution.

- Continuously monitor project progress to ensure implementation aligns with the plan and complies with contract documents and overall project requirements.

- Review project progress with the Senior Cost and Planning Manager by monitoring and controlling projects against budgeted costs, quality, timelines, and the standard of contractors and consultants, ensuring alignment with client standards.

- Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors, discuss upcoming works, quality, and recommend construction materials to ensure project delivery date and specifications are respected.

- Provide technical assistance to other stakeholders when needed.


Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards, and Reports

- Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

- Assist in preparing accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.


Safety, Quality, and Environment

- Apply safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services, and a responsible environmental attitude.


Qualification & Experience

- University degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is highly desirable although consideration will be given to candidates with professional qualifications in lieu of a degree.

- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with 4 years in a senior managerial position, preferably in project management and site environment.
