Trading Operations:

Our client is a West End based proprietary trading firm, who are expanding their Trading Operations team. You will support their Alpha Capture system by executing ideas provided by sell-side contributors.


Daily responsibilities:

  • Support the trading platform across EMEA, APAC and US markets.
  • Discussing trading ideas from sell-side contributors.
  • Support the discretionary traders in ensuring best practice is followed.
  • Accurately capture trading ideas and load them into the proprietary trading platform, and monitor the trade execution for the model.
  • This is an opportunity to become a skilled execution trader, understanding market microstructure, liquidity, and execution channels.
  • Your focus will be on Equities but you will assist in hedging with derivative products.
  • Apply risk checks to challenge external contributors on their suggested portfolio adjustments.


Skills and Experience:

  • STEM degree.
  • 0-1 year of experience within a Hedge Fund or Investment Bank.
  • Strong technically proficient with Python, SQL and Excel.
  • Strong interest in equites and capital markets.
