Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 DOE

A successful independent Scottish legal firm, with a strong focus on Private Client and property-related legal services, is seeking to recruit a Paralegal to join their established Private Client team. The firm operates across four core sectors: Private Client, Land & Rural Business, Renewable Energy, and Commercial Real Estate, providing a comprehensive range of legal services across multiple practice teams.

The Private Client team plays a key role within the firm, offering a full spectrum of wealth protection, tax and inheritance, trusts and executries advice to High-Net-Worth individuals, the elderly, family-owned business owners, and SME owners, in addition to providing services such as wills, probate, executry, and tax compliance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to provide varied and comprehensive support to the Private Client team in a competent and efficient manner. Some of the key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Trust administration, including the review and establishment of systems
  • Dealing directly with executors, trustees, and beneficiaries
  • Ongoing administration of Powers of Attorney and Guardianships

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and efficient team player, with the ability to manage a high-volume workload to an exceptional standard. The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, with strong written and verbal skills, and will be able to maintain collaborative and professional relationships. A keen eye for detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages are essential for this role.

It is expected that the successful candidate will hold a relevant Paralegal qualification and have experience in a similar role. The firm will also consider applicants with relevant work experience who are willing to work towards an appropriate Paralegal qualification.

This is a full-time position, with flexibility for part-time and remote working considered. The firm offers a modern, professional, and rewarding environment, along with a competitive remuneration and benefits package.
