FO Jointer Splicer/Tester – Contract Opportunity


Are you an experienced Fiber Optic Jointer Splicer/Tester with a background in subsea repeater integration and testing? We’re looking for skilled professionals for an exciting contract position based in Norway.


About the Role:

This is a fantastic onshore opportunity to work on cutting-edge subsea telecom projects at a factory in Norway. The role involves subsea repeater integration and testing, with rotations of 3-4 weeks (or longer if preferred).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform splicing and testing of fiber optic cables for subsea repeater systems.
  • Conduct integration and system testing to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot testing equipment as needed.


About You:

  • Proven experience in fiber optic splicing and testing.
  • Strong technical skills in subsea repeater integration and testing.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision.
  • Flexibility to work on rotations and adapt to project needs.
  • Eligibility to work in Norway (visa support available for qualified candidates).
