Senior Management Accountant

Glasgow City Centre

Permanent/Full Time

Hybrid (1 or 2 days a week)



Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnered again with our clients in Glasgow City Centre as they are looking to welcome a new Senior Management Accountant to their team on a full time and permanent basis.


Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of monthly FTE figures preparation/ headcount reporting.
  • Monthly review of the management accounts for the International office and provide support to the local finance teams.
  • Review of UK management accounts and supporting reports prepared by the Management Accountants.
  • Monthly balance sheets reconciliations
  • Provide support to senior management and the business as necessary.
  • Provide budget support as and when required.
  • Coordinate with the external auditors throughout the annual audit fieldwork process, to ensure timey response to audit queries and deadlines are met.
  • Specific areas of responsibility during the annual audit
  • Line management and delegation of work to the Management Accountant as appropriate.



Essential skills and experience

  • Accounting qualification essential (ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA etc).
  • Experience of reviewing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Good understanding of FRS 102 and statutory reporting.
  • Highly numerate with a good understanding of financial and management information systems.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, ability to manipulate and make sense of large volumes of data.
