Role Description

We are currently seeking an Associate with 2-5 years of relevant industry experience to join our Debt Placement team in our London office. In this role, you will be afforded new challenges with the opportunity to develop expertise in your discipline. This position also involves a significant role in business transactions including client and investor communication, supervision of Analysts and the underwriting process, creation and execution of marketing collateral, as well as continued hands-on training.


Essential Functions

  • Working closely with senior team members and mentoring and training Analysts
  • Financial underwriting, due diligence review, and transaction execution
  • Performing comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis
  • Preparing presentations and other materials for clients
  • Creating pitches, proposals, and marketing materials
  • Developing relationships outside the firm with comparable peer groups
  • Supporting sales through marketing and direct interaction with clients


Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-5 years of commercial real estate experience


Experience, Skills, and Competencies Required

  • Proficient in financial modeling within Excel and preparing presentations within PowerPoint
  • Strong communication, analytical, and writing skills
  • Strong financial analysis and excel modeling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high quality work under tight time frames
  • Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry with a focus on real estate finance
  • Experience in commercial real estate with a focus on capital markets
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused, collaborative, and team environment
