Our client, a prestigious player in F1, is actively seeking an EDS Engineer to contribute to their dynamic engineering team. This contract role is perfect for professionals passionate about electrical design, specifically within the fast-paced environment of motorsport, though experience in this sector is not mandatory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development and execution of electrical designs tailored for automotive applications
• Creation of comprehensive harness layouts to support system integration and performance
• Utilisation of specialist software tools such as Zuken E3 and Capital XC for design and configuration
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet design specifications and project timelines
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Maintaining documentation and records of design processes and revisions

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Significant experience in electrical engineering, particularly within an automotive setting
• Proficiency in electrical design software including Zuken E3 and Capital XC
• Understanding of harness layout and its critical impact on automotive design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure team environment
