Responsibilities:

* Develop and Prepare Detailed Drawings: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit for various projects, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

* BIM Model Management: Assist in the creation and management of Building Information Models (BIM) for various projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

* Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to produce accurate and detailed drawings and models that meet project requirements.

* Review and Modify Designs: Analyze and revise designs to ensure they comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.

* Document Control: Maintain organized project documentation, including drawings, models, and specifications, and ensure they are updated throughout the project lifecycle.

* Coordination: Coordinate with other CAD/BIM technicians and engineers to integrate designs and ensure seamless project execution.

* Software Utilization: Utilize Inventor or SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and assemblies for product design, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.

* Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on drawings and models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.

* Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to team members on the use of AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software as needed.


You should have:

  • Education: Associate degree or higher in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CAD/BIM Technician or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD: Strong knowledge and experience with AutoCAD for 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
  • Proficiency in Revit: Hands-on experience with Revit for BIM model creation and management.
  • Experience with Inventor or SolidWorks: Familiarity with Inventor or SolidWorks for 3D modelling and product design is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in design and modelling.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
