Financial Controller

The role is predominantly focused on providing financial leadership to the manufacturing location, working collaboratively as a business partner to drive continuous improvement. The Finance Controller connects finance processes with operations, providing guidance, driving actions, and financial insights to ensure operational strategies and decisions will lead to the expected results.
You will be based out of their site in South Molton, Devon and will have one direct report.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Controller role: • Financial analysis • Driving initiatives (including CAPEX and WORKING CAPITAL) and influencing changes • Collaborative planning • Financial modelling • Risk management • Performance tracking • Cost management • Inventory management • Stakeholder management • Forecasting • Cost Accounting
Key skills/experience required for the Finance Controller: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. • 5-8 years varied accounting/finance experience; 2 years of data analytics experience is preferred. • Strong financial acumen and business partnering skills. • Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals. • Detail-oriented with effective organisation and time management skills. • Highly motivated, highly analytical and self-starter.
