About the Role - Your key responsibilities as HSE Officer include:

  • Taking ownership of the Health and Safety on site by providing safety management advice, monitoring and reporting in the workplace, and engaging staff in programs that ensure safe practice in the workplace.
  • Conducting investigations into safety incidents and monitoring safety performance (e.g. KPI dashboard).
  • Conduct Health Safety and Environment inductions for new joiners and contractors and participate in the identification of HS training needs analysis throughout the organisation.
  • Support the review of contractor RAMS and Risk Assessment statements, and take responsibility for the COSHH register, working with managers and staff to ensure risk assessments are completed

Your Profile:

  • A relevant, up to date qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH either certificate or diploma, IOSH, or equivalent)
  • A relevant, up to date qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH either certificate or diploma, IOSH, or equivalent)
  • Willingness and ability to travel to other sites, some of which are international, on a regular basis.
  • Continuous Improvement experience (5S, Kaizen etc.,)
  • Knowledge of PUWER - or willing to learn
  • PC literate and confident with the Microsoft suite
  • A strong willingness and approach to learning new aspects about the job.


Pay range and compensation package - Attractive basic salary. Hybrid working (after a successful probation period - 3 days on site, 2 from home). Bonus up to 10%. Gym membership. Pension. Private health care. Life Assurance. 25 days holidays + 8 stat days
