A leading automotive manufacturing company that specializes in producing high performance vehicles is currently hiring a Motor Testing and Calibration Engineer. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering design and vehicle test teams to ensure the products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.


The Motor Testing and Calibration Engineer will:

  • Analyse test data to identify performance trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to monitor and troubleshoot issues.
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans for electric fan system.
  • Document test procedures, results, and calibration data in detailed technical reports.
  • Develop and implement calibration strategies to optimize motor performance and efficiency.


The Motor Testing and Calibration Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electric motor testing and calibration.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink).
  • Broad understanding of electromagnetics & motor control and an understanding of drive system efficiency and performance.
  • Experience with dynamometer testing and other motor test equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
