VP Engineer - Private Equity – up to 160k base


Make a real impact to this asset management firm, sitting directly in their Client and Firmware Platform team.


The great thing about this part of the business is that there’ll be plenty of variety. You’re not just going to be servicing internal colleagues, but you’ll work with external stakeholders too. You will be building and maintaining scalable and secure software platforms using C#/Python and SQL.


You’ll be given all kinds of freedom to produce your own ideas and implement them into production. There’s a key focus on keeping the design process as iterative as possible and ensuring that rapid development happens to make sure you can make a real impact almost as soon as you step inside the door.


You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and provide business support. Projects will vary and will include creating, deploying and maintaining APIs, supporting microservices, integrating with front-end and third-party apps.


Other projects could include building web pages in React, but most of all, you’ll be working closely with these stakeholders to provide them with the best UX across all apps and platforms. You’ll definitely need experience with C# and SQL, but you will be encouraged to learn and gain more skills by using the best tool for the job.


Starting salary will be up to £160k plus bonuses and a range of benefits. You’ll be joining an alternative asset manager focused on making a difference to the world through their investments.
