Job Description:

Electus Recruitment is seeking a Hardware Cyber Security Consultant to join a dynamic SME that is part of a larger group of companies poised for significant growth. As a Hardware Cyber Security Consultant, you will contribute to innovative projects that protect the UK from emerging cyber threats.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct novel, cutting-edge research into vulnerabilities in hardware, software, and systems.
  • Create hardware prototypes.
  • Perform simulation, modelling and data analysis.
  • Network and Protocol analysis.
  • Perform OSINT.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of experts to solve complex challenges.


Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in electronics hardware, software architecture, sensors and systems.
  • Deep understanding of the connections between software, hardware and infrastructure.
  • Experience or interest in hardware cyber security.
  • Coding proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
  • An enquiring mind and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Post-Graduate Degree and research experience or a PhD in a relevant field such as Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
  • This is an on-site role. A flexible working policy exists however the applicant is expected to be on-site for the majority of the time.
