Role Description:

This role involves supporting SAP BusinessObjects Financial Consolidation (SAP BFC) within an Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) scope, requiring a diverse skill set. The successful candidate will work on ensuring alignment with Risk Control Matrix (RCM) processes, maintaining current operating procedures, and conducting various user access reviews.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular checks to ensure team processes align with the Risk Control Matrix (RCM).
  • Keep operating procedures and user guidance documents current and updated.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of risk acceptance where relevant.
  • Conduct user access reviews for privileged users (ACC02) and generic users (ACC03).
  • Manage group and country-wide access distribution, including follow-ups and collating responses (ACC09).
  • Manage quarterly inactive users' distribution, including follow-ups and collating responses (ACC09).
  • Oversee annual review distribution, including follow-ups and collating responses (ACC11).
  • Ensure weekly processing of leavers in all relevant systems.
  • Perform proactive ad-hoc checks as needed.
  • Conduct regular peer reviews of configuration and Business As Usual (BAU) changes.


Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Good understanding of working with audits of financial systems and ITIL processes.
  • Experience with or participation in SOX audits is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of business objects, databases, SAP DB/applications, and Cloud IaaS and PaaS technologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of controls requirements within a fast-paced finance environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial consolidation (P&L) systems operations.
  • Located in the UK to ensure effective and value-added effort.
  • Proficiency with BFC SAP financial consolidation products, including both functional and non-functional aspects, is a plus
