The Solution Group are recruiting on behalf of our industry leading client , specialising in Structural Steel. As they continue to expand and take on exciting new projects, they're in need of a talented Structural Steel Estimator to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse structural drawings, specifications, and other project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for structural steel projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure all project requirements are understood and accounted for in estimates.
• Conduct thorough material take-offs and pricing research to determine costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages, ensuring compliance with project specifications and deadlines.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and negotiations with clients and subcontractors as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a similar role/environment
