Please note that this opening is also being advertised at Junior Sous Chef level, as our head chef is open to bringing either a strong chef de partie or a junior sous chef into the team.

Key information for the Chef de Partie role:

Hours: Full time - 45 hours per week. You will get 2 days off per week and work predominantly straight shifts.

Pay: £30,552 per annum package. This comprises £12.80 per hour plus approx. £600 per annum service charge bonus. Overtime is paid if worked

Signing on bonus: You will receive a £250 signing on bonus on completion of a successful probation period.

A typical week: At The Square you will be part of a close team who work hard to get the job done but have fun at the same time The Square is a versatile venue - with events, weddings and the à la Carte menu all being a feature of any given week.

About our ideal Chef de Partie:

Youre friendly, confident and a great team player. You love to cook and are passionate about providing our guests with excellent food. You are able to work with great attention to detail and consistency, maintain high standards in all aspects of your role, and are keen to learn and progress

Ideally, youll have some experience within a similar fine-dining kitchen but this is not a requirement - it's more important that you have great skills, a passion for food and the right attitude You may be a strong commis chef or an existing demi chef de partie looking to take on a new challenge.

What youll be doing as Chef de Partie:
Preparing and cooking fine dining food for our à la carte and private event menus
Supporting more junior chefs
Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy during your shift
Acting as a good team player
