Our client is a leading global agrochemical company seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join their team as Global Head of Regulatory Affairs , This is a unique opportunity to lead a global regulatory team, ensuring the successful registration and defense of the company’s crop protection products around the world.**


Reporting into the Head of R&D you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of Global Product Science Leaders, including Product Sciences, Human Health Sciences and Environmental Sciences.


Key Responsibilities


Oversee the development and execution of a global regulatory strategy for the company’s portfolio of crop protection products.


Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities in key regions, including the US EPA, the European Union, and Latin America.


Supervise and develop a team of Global Product Science Leads and Regulatory Managers, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global regulatory and scientific trends.


Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the regulatory team, embracing the increased complexity and interdependence of scientific disciplines.


Proactively identify and navigate regulatory challenges, proposing solutions and advocating for the company's interests.


Work closely with R&D, Development, Formulations, and other internal departments to ensure the seamless integration of regulatory considerations into all aspects of product development and launch.


Represent regulatory affairs on various internal and external committees, providing expert guidance and ensuring alignment across the organization.


Lead with a strategic mindset, understanding the company’s commercial priorities and needs, while advocating for scientific integrity and responsible innovation.


Required Qualifications


Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science or a related field. Master’s degree in a science or regulatory discipline or a Doctorate is preferred.


Extensive experience (at least 15 years) in regulatory affairs, with a strong focus on global strategy and multi-year planning in the pesticide industry.


Proven track record of success in leading and managing global regulatory teams.


Demonstrated expertise in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and building strong relationships with regulatory authorities.


Required Skills


Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to lead and influence individuals and cross-functional teams.

Proactive and adaptable, with a passion for driving innovation in regulatory practices.

Strong understanding of the agrochemical industry and the challenges associated with global product registration.

Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with stakeholders across various departments.
