Business Analyst, Liquidity Reporting - £800pd, 6 month contract


My client, an investment bank based in London, is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their Liquidity Reporting team for a contract assignment (initial 6 months contract) on a multi-year change programme, covering the end-to-end regulatory reporting process with a specific focus on liquidity reports. The role is predominantly UK-based but will require communication with stakeholders in other regions to define requirements, identify solutions and support the change implementation process for liquidity reporting and data sourcing projects.


Key skills:


  • A strong understanding PRA rules and regulations relating to Liquidity and the ability to interpret these rules for stakeholders and use in requirements definitions
  • Strong experience in banking, specifically in finance replated projects
  • Excellent understanding of Liquidity regulatory reporting (e.g. LCR, NSFR and PRA110 reports)
  • Excellent analysis, functional design and data analysis skills
  • Demonstrated experience of working on large scale projects
  • A good appreciation of systems and data architectures, specifically in a Risk and Finance environment
  • An understanding of systems delivery lifecycles and delivery methodologies
  • Proficient in interrogating databases via SQL queries
  • Good VBA skills



Responsibilities:


  • Provide business analysis on change projects specifically relating to liquidity reporting
  • Take a lead role in business in the development of business requirements through direct engagement with the business and via workshops etc.
  • Work with business and technology teams to develop solutions
  • Produce thorough requirements documentation and agree documented user requirements with the business
  • Communicate effectively with regional reporting business teams and technology
  • Perform data analysis and assist in data sourcing solutions
  • Support the change execution and implementation phases for liquidity reporting and data sourcing initiatives
  • Support user workshops and training programmes
