Associate Portfolio Manager

Insight Investment are currently looking for an Associate Portfolio Manager to join the Convertible Bonds Team, based in London. The position offers a path towards increased responsibility and involvement in direct decision making and managing portfolios.
Role Responsibilities
•Monitoring relevant markets and help in managing existing portfolios.
•Analyse companies, securities, and strategies to identify opportunities and risks.
•A significant element of administrative work, as required for managing complex portfolios.
•Daily interaction with the Senior PMs as well as other colleagues at Insight and the marketplace.
•Developing systems and processes that enhance our ability to investment, manage risks and communicate our strategies.
Experience Required
•Experience in convertible bonds or equity would be viewed as advantageous.
•Ability to analyse securities and make recommendations/decisions under uncertainty.
•Strong analytical skills, ideally a degree in a STEM/Economics or related subject with a quantitative content. Programming skills are not required but are an advantage.
•Evidence of genuine interest in investments, particularly in corporate asset classes.
•Knowledge of company investment analysis is an advantage, as are knowledge of any of equities, credit, or derivatives markets.
•Curiosity and willingness to learn.
•Good interpersonal and communications skills.
