Location: Remote (ad-hoc UK travel when needed)

Hospitals, dentists, ambulances, care homes, and the care provided directly to the homes of those who need it, rely heavily upon this organisation and the amazing work they're doing. This role is crucial as the Disaster Recovery Manager will have the responsibility of ensuring IT systems are as resilient and recoverable as possible.

This organisation are in the process of large-scale tech transformation and they need a Disaster Recovery Manager to ask the difficult questions and ensure that the worst case scenarios are identified early on in the process and plans are put in place to mitigate damage.

Disaster Recovery Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining the overall IT Disaster Recovery Framework
  • Reviewing the outcomes of Business Impact Analysis and aligning the Disaster Recovery framework to support business needs
  • Scheduling and leading all Disaster Recovery exercises,
  • Maintaining a "failure mode analysis" scenario document
  • Developing effective strategies to respond to IT and operational service disruption
  • Identifying IT business continuity risks, potential impact and likelihood

Disaster Recovery Manager Requirements

  • Significant experience in IT Disaster Recovery planning and execution
  • Experience leading IT Disaster Recovery testing
  • Appropriate ITIL qualifications
  • Experience working with ISO frameworks (ISO22301 ideally)
