Chief Technology Officer - Start Up - Clean Tech - SaaS - £150k + Equity


Our client is a rapidly growing AI-driven SaaS company that has recently secured $4 million in funding. They are now searching for a CTO acting as a business partner with a high level of autonomy to make technical changes and translate complex technical concepts into business-oriented value.


As the CTO in this early-stage startup environment, you will be commercially driven with deep tech experience, balancing technical and business needs. This requires the direct capability to be hands-on with development and provide strategic leadership to the team, drawing on your previous experience scaling early-stage companies.


Tech Stach: Typescript, VUE, Node, Python


We are looking for a highly skilled CTO who is commercially minded, strategic with Series A experience and scaling a company (this is key).


Managing a team of 6, The CTO will be tasked with making executive technology decisions on behalf of the company and building an energised technology team.

You should be a self-starter who collaborates well, loves problem solving, and is eager to develop innovative technology solutions that have a real-world impact.


Responsibilities:


• Owning the technology roadmap for the company

• Scaling the company software platform – rolling up her or his sleeves to help with coding early on with view to moving toward a more managerial role as we scale

• Building and managing technology capability/team including internal and external resources

• Managing budget/timelines for deployment of technology services


Requirements:


• Minimum 4 Years as a CTO/ Head of Development w/ managerial & strategy responsibility

• Series A / ScaleUp Experience - Essential

• Bachelor or graduate degree in computer science preferred

• Experience in B2B software development (e.g., building differentiated product features with client input)

• Proficiency in Typescript/Javascript/React/Python/Noe

• Excellent communication skills and ‘team orientation’

• Management experience

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages

• Proficiency with server-side languages

• Familiarity with database technology


3 stage interview process, references will be taken so be aware these will be checked thoroughly in light of any offer.


This is a hybrid role where you will be required to go into the office (Central London) at least 2 days per week.
