About the Role:

  • The position involves building an automated Lending Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for the property sector.
  • The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a passion for systems thinking and the ability to turn complex business requirements into user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design seamless, intuitive user experiences for web-based applications.
  • Translate complex workflows and business rules into clear interfaces.
  • Use diagrams and visuals to communicate user interactions, data flows, and application states.
  • Own the end-to-end design process, from discovery to final hand-off.
  • Define and maintain a scalable design system with reusable UI components.
  • Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Understand the workflows and expectations of property lending professionals.
  • Prototype, iterate, and validate designs using tools like Figma.
  • Balance clarity, functionality, and aesthetics in design solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products.
  • Experience with complex systems or domain-specific software, ideally in property lending, underwriting, or financial services.
  • Strong ability to model system logic using visual tools.
  • Fluency in systems thinking and the ability to deconstruct problems.
  • Mastery of Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
  • Excellent interaction and visual design skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
  • Ability to attend meetings in Cambridge occasionally.
