Rate Payable to Contractors: £400 £450 per day

Duration of Assignment: 6 months


The HashiCorp + Terraform + Sentinel SME will play a key role in enhancing the security and efficiency of DevOps pipelines within a major banking project. This position involves working with cutting-edge technology, integrating security tooling, and collaborating within Agile teams to drive project success.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Security Specialist: Provide expertise in securing DevOps pipelines using HashiCorp, Terraform, and Sentinel.
  2. Agile Collaboration: Work within Agile teams, participating in sprints and collaborating to achieve project goals.
  3. Tool Integration: Integrate security tooling and processes within the DevOps pipeline.
  4. Process Navigation: Navigate bank processes efficiently and collaborate with various teams to progress sprint activities.


Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  1. HashiCorp Vault: Extensive experience with HashiCorp Vault for managing secrets and protecting sensitive data.
  2. Terraform: Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  3. Sentinel: Strong knowledge of Sentinel for policy as code.
  4. DevOps Understanding: Deep understanding of DevOps pipelines and workflows, and how they integrate with security tooling.
  5. Security Integration: Experience in integrating security practices within DevOps environments.
