I am looking for a Business Development Manager to join a growing Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) They have grown naturally for the last 3 years and are now looking to drive their sales function forward. This is an exciting opportunity, with options to progress into management and potential equity up for grabs further down the line.


Expected outputs/deliverables

• Hunting new logo business in SME, Mid market and Enterprise logos.

• Generating new business leads via extensive networking and relationship development

• Working closely with vendor partner sales contacts to hunt, develop and win new opportunities

• Management of own time for calls, networking, travel, and preparation of proposals

• Delivering tailored pitches and presentations to clients

• Working closely with the client to identify requirements and ensure satisfaction

• Contract negotiation

• Able to consistently meet/exceed sales quota.



Required Competencies (Skills, Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications)


• Minimum 3 years of directly selling business to Business sales with a proven track record of success

• Worked with clients in developing their strategy and requirements

• Ability to succeed in a sales environment: prospecting, building pipelines, and closing business.

• A proven track record of delivering sales of complex services and solutions in a competitive environment

• Able to develop and maintain exceptional customer relationships

• Excellent communication, articulation, and presentation skills
