We are looking for a Credit Insurance Account Handler to join our team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within our highly experienced Credit Insurance Team, providing essential support across client accounts and new business.

Location: Leeds Office (with flexibility for home working)

Salary: Dependent on experience

The Role

As a Credit Insurance Account Handler, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Credit Insurance Account Executives and clients. You'll work across a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing account handling support across Account Executive portfolios and new business
  • Maintaining and updating client and policy records
  • Distributing renewal correspondence within set timeframes
  • Issuing policy reminders to clients in conjunction with Account Handlers and Executives
  • Handling insurer online portals proficiently and providing assistance where required
  • Managing ad-hoc administrative tasks and project work to ensure smooth business operations
  • Working towards full Account Handler status within an agreed timeframe

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organised, and eager to develop their career in Credit Insurance. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a Credit Insurance or related role
  • Technical knowledge of insurance products and policies
  • A solid understanding of FCA regulations (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • A commitment to professional development and learning
