My client provides investment and wealth management services for private clients, charities, trustees and professional partners. The firm are looking to add a Distribution Strategy Analyst who will support the Head of Distribution Strategy.


Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales and distribution data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement.
  • Develop and deliver both regular and ad-hoc reports focusing on distribution metrics, client engagement, and sales performance.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and visualisations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.


Market Research & Insights

  • Perform comprehensive market research to assess the competitive landscape, identify market trends, and understand client needs.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support business development and strategic initiatives based on market analysis.


Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Assist in the creation and execution of distribution strategies and business plans.
  • Support the identification and evaluation of new distribution channels and partnership opportunities.
  • Help establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the distribution team to ensure alignment with business objectives.


Salesforce Management

  • Ensure effective use and understanding of Salesforce within the distribution team.
  • Align Salesforce development with the company’s objectives and long-term growth strategy.


Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all distribution activities comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to internal policies.
  • Assist in the identification and mitigation of risks associated with distribution activities.


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or relevant master’s degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on strategy, market analysis, or business development.
  • CFA or IMC qualification is preferred.
  • Exceptional research and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced analytical abilities, capable of interpreting complex data to provide actionable insights.
  • Experience in market segmentation, product positioning, and driving sales performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of asset management products and distribution channels is advantageous.
