Energy Analyst/Associate - Renewables and Sustainability - Kent, UK, Hybrid - £40,000
In this role, you will be tasked with conducting Site Decarbonisation Surveys and delivering vital energy performance assessments for public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Decarbonisation Surveys for public sector buildings and provide practical recommendations to improve energy efficiency.
- Produce Display Energy Certificates (DECs), Recommendation Reports (RRs), and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) as required.
- Evaluate the performance of energy systems such as boilers, lighting, heat pumps, and solar PV, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Use specialist software and Excel to calculate potential costs, savings, and carbon reduction outcomes.
- Analyse energy data and provide detailed reports to help clients make well-informed decisions.
- Organise and oversee site visits, liaising with stakeholders and ensuring smooth execution of surveys.
- Manage workloads effectively, reporting progress to the Senior Energy Surveyor.
- Work towards gaining any relevant accreditations, if not already obtained.
What we need from you:
- Relevant industry or technical/environmental qualifications (e.g., EPC, ESOS, CEng, IEng, etc.).
- Proven experience conducting energy assessments and a strong understanding of building energy systems.
- Familiarity with modern energy technologies such as heat pumps, solar PV, and building management systems.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and process energy data effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing and client advisory.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and maintain efficient schedules.
