We are working with a globally recognised business niche packaging manufacturer with a lot of success and growth over the last 3/4 years who have much up and coming in the UK


Due, to internal progression and investments into the site, they are now looking to appoint an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, to join their Electrical Engineering department, and oversee Electrical Maintenance on-site.


Reporting to the Engineering Manager an Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for, providing continuous electrical maintenance and repair service to all production equipment and machinery timely, whilst ensuring that production downtime is kept to a minimum.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair or replace electrical equipment | machinery to a standard that will ensure maximum machine efficiency and performance.
  • Attending equipment and machinery breakdowns and prioritising workload accordingly.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance of electrical equipment, systems, and controls.
  • To undertake development work that extends the effective usefulness of company equipment.
  • To Identify and take appropriate remedial action to rectify equipment faults and failures.
  • Ensure all necessary maintenance information is recorded using the recognised documentation.


You will be:

  • Apprentice trained to a Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Discipline or equivalent.
  • Well-versed in working in a fast-paced manufacturing industry.
  • Great problem-solving skills.
  • A great communicator.
