Your Role 🎉

We are looking for a talented Unreal Engine 5 Developer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in rendering on the cloud, managing Docker containers, and optimizing performance within Unreal Engine 5. You will be instrumental in creating visually stunning and efficient production environments for high-end visual experiences.

Responsibilities | What You Will Be Doing 💡

  • Collaborate with unreal & cloud engineers to deploy a cloud-rendering solution to GCP.
  • Optimize rendering pipelines and shaders for high-quality visual output and performance.
  • Develop and maintain Docker containers to streamline the deployment and scalability of Unreal Engine environments.
  • Collaborate with other developers and technical artists to solve complex rendering challenges.
  • Attending sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review and sprint retrospective to discuss progress.
  • Implement custom-built plugins for the Unreal Editor to support dynamic scene updates over the web.
  • Document technical solutions, processes, and best practices for cloud rendering and containerization.


Requirements 🛠️

Must Have’s

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Visual Effects, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Unreal Engine.
  • Strong knowledge of C++, Blueprint scripting, and rendering optimization techniques in Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and rendering on the cloud.
  • Proficiency in using and managing Docker containers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.


Nice to Have’s

  • Experience running Unreal Engine 5 on Linux and Windows.
  • Experience in film or TV production environments, especially in visual effects or animation.
  • Familiarity with other containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Proven experience of deploying Unreal Engine to the cloud.
  • Have developed Unreal Engine plugins that are submitted to the marketplace or are being used by an internal team.
  • Knowledge of photorealistic rendering techniques and PBR materials.
