Are you a talented and experienced Family Solicitor looking for an exciting new opportunity with a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm in Birmingham? Our client, a leading and well-respected firm, is seeking a Senior Family Solicitor with around 7-8 years PQE to join their thriving team.

About the Role:

As a Senior Family Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in handling complex family law cases, with a particular focus on financial matters. You'll have the opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals and engage in a wide range of high-profile matters, including divorce, asset division, pre-nuptial agreements, and financial settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of complex financial family law matters, ensuring the highest standards of client care and legal expertise.
  • Lead negotiations and provide strategic advice to clients on financial settlements and related matters.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while driving new business development and referrals.
  • Assist with mentoring junior solicitors and contributing to the development of the team.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and high-performing team environment.
  • Assist in growing the firm's reputation in the family law sector through networking, BD initiatives, and client referrals.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 7-8 years PQE with a strong background in family law, particularly financial matters.
  • A proven track record of managing complex family law cases, with a focus on financial settlements.
  • Ideally, you will have a following of clients or a demonstrated ability to generate new business.
  • Strong business development and networking skills to help further expand the firm's family law practice.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and challenging matters.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a hybrid working environment.
