London Area, United Kingdom Carbon Architecture Full time

Carbon Architecture (part of Bellrock Group) has spent the last twelve years helping energy intensive organisations optimise their processes. Through a combination of energy efficiency measures and low carbon solutions, we streamline business operations, embedding cost and carbon savings for the long-term. We work closely with our clients to understand their business goals, growth potential and ESG related challenges. Our feasibility studies enable an informed decision-making process, based on a comparative review of the various roadmaps available, with full cost-benefit analysis to highlight the best balance between business resilience and the reduction of carbon.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking to hire an Energy & Carbon Consultant in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven engineer to join a dynamic, highly successful team, with focus on engineering solutions, audits of sites, and decarbonisation of buildings through the implementation of an appropriate blend of renewable and low-carbon solutions. The role will require you to identify, manage and deliver technical energy and process efficiency projects in a variety of sectors. Projects will focus on the delivery of utility and carbon savings through the identification of wastage and opportunities for reduction. Our bespoke online energy and waste and analytics tool set, InMetriks, will be available for you to support your clients to become more efficient, and ultimately reduce the impact they are having on the world around us.

  • Work closely with site contacts to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Support Senior and Principal Consultants with product development
  • Support the clients you are allocated via ongoing reporting, phone contact, email, and meetings, either virtually or face-to-face. Thus, ensuring satisfaction whilst acting as trusted advisor, and delivering the contracted service
  • Work with other staff, internal and external, collaborating to ensure the progress of projects and timely delivery of agreed outputs
  • Provide technical support/oversight to a range of projects across the areas such as, but not limited to: SECR, ESOS, Action Plans, CCA, Net Zero Roadmaps, HDP, Scope 3, EII, energy management, and energy audits to BS EN 16247)
  • Support the business development team to identify new opportunities and support existing clients from ongoing work
  • Improve the knowledge and understanding of the wider team by providing training on relevant subject matter, drawing on personal knowledge and experience where possible
  • Support the collation of management information through the completion of timesheets, deliverable trackers, etc.

Your knowledge, skills and qualifications

Essential

  • A proven record of delivering sustainability, process improvement, or cost efficiency projects to internal and/or external customers
