Inspector with CMM and Aerospace component experience required for precision engineering manufacturer who are going through a large period of growth which can offer continuous training and career development opportunities to the successful candidate
The role will be suited to an experienced inspector. You will ideally have experience of working within a precision manufacturing environment. Experience in Aerospace or Defence would be a distinct advantage.
The Role:
- Carry out First Offs, In-Process, Goods Inwards and Final Inspection to customer drawings and specifications
- Prepare and carry out FAIR’s to AS9102
- Support all Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with AS9100 as well as all required company, customer and regulatory ruling and process
- Continuously improve the business by supporting the company Kaizen process.
- Ensure correct authorities (training and skills) are in place to carry out the role under the regulations of the QMS.
The Person
- Experience in FAIR creation/completion to AS9102.
- Familiar with the use/programming of relevant equipment, CMM’s, Faro Arms etc.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and a good understanding of GD&T.
- Ability to thrive within a fast-paced manufacturing business environment.
- Collaborative and able to work as part of a team and an individual when required.
