Role Overview: We're seeking a talented and creative Content Creator to join our growing Social Media team in London. You'll be responsible for producing engaging videos that contribute to our goals of acquiring new users, building brand recognition, and creating exceptional content that showcases our AI-powered educational platform.


What the job involves:


  • Lead the production and distribution of all short-form vertical video content for our TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube shorts
  • Own the entire video production cycle end-to-end, from planning & pre-production to post-production (with support from an editor)
  • Generate high-output of vertical social-first content aimed at delivering performance-based results
  • Report on performance across managed channels and collaborate with our YouTube content creator to plan and scale our video output
  • Play a lead role in short-form content ideation and execution, maximizing our total video output effectively
  • Create an array of content styles, including memes, video carousels, reactive trends, infographics, and more
  • Transform complex educational and AI concepts into engaging, easily digestible video content
  • Collaborate with the Compliance team to ensure all video content aligns with regulations and compliance requirements
  • Adapt quickly to trending topics and create timely, relevant content
  • Work effectively across teams, contributing to our collaborative start-up environment


Qualifications:


  • A proven track record as a content creator, with a strong personal brand and engaged following on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube
  • 3+ years of experience creating viral or highly engaging content in a professional setting, or 5+ years of success in independent content creation
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms prioritizing vertical content, with a keen eye for what makes content shareable
  • Mastery of the TikTok editor (Capcut), proficiency in mobile editing techniques, and working knowledge of Adobe Suite
  • Proficiency in Figma and Canva for graphic design and content creation
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret engagement metrics and adapt content strategies accordingly
  • Exceptional creativity and the ability to turn complex educational and AI concepts into engaging, easily digestible video content
  • Agility to respond quickly to trending topics and create timely, relevant content
  • Collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams
  • Willingness to appear on camera and be the face of some of our content, when appropriate
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in the education or technology sector
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts
  • Knowledge of the UK education system and exam structures (GCSE, A-Levels, etc.)
  • Understanding of SEO and content optimization techniques
