Your role


As Business Development Executive, you will work closely with the Business Development Director, supporting new & existing customers, providing them with exceptional service while providing accurate & competitive quotations for our services. You will build & manage your own accounts as part of the Business Development portfolio and deliver sales. You will also work closely with our Account Management and Business Development teams to support their sales opportunities.


Reporting into the Business Development Director you will form an integral part of the Sales Team & joining an established team within Westbase.io provides an opportunity for career growth.


Your core responsibilities will be:


  • Working in collaboration with Business Development Director to enable sales and growth across new accounts.
  • Managing accounts and driving sales in nominated accounts as part of the Business Development Team.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing communications to & from our customers in a clear and professional manner ensuring their requirements are fully understood and appropriately met.
  • Consistently meet Sales KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Supporting our customers throughout the sales process.
  • Use the internal Client Relationship Management and Accounting software to input, process and verify data entry relating to our customers, sales transactions, payments and stock levels.


What you need to have


To do this job well you need to have:


  • Experience in Sales, Sales Development, Inside Sales, or Telesales.
  • Experience in a similar role (e.g. Business Development Executive, Inside Sales Executive).
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales workflow systems.
  • Highly competitive, achievement-oriented, motivated, and driven to exceed goals.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritize workloads.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Natural self-motivation and also the ability to work as part of a busy team.
  • Proactive attitude and keen to learn.
  • Ambitious, self-starting, and eager to progress in a sales career with a fast-growing company.
  • Pride, Pace & Precision in your work.


The following experience and qualifications are also desirable:


  • Educated to degree level.
  • Moderate understanding of IP Networking and products.


What’s in it for you?


  • Salary Circa £25,000 to £30,000.
  • Sales Incentive Package circa £10,000 to £12,000
